One of the sports I like to follow its not your traditional team sports as we are used to seeing. This type of sports involves video games also known as E-Sports. What draws me into this type of sport is the dedication and skill that it takes to be able to stand out in a video game competition. I'm not sure if youre ever heard of Tyler Blevins, also known as Ninja on the gaming world. He spends his time playing games like Fornite and Apex Legends where he draws millions of viewers every month as he entertains his viewers. What I like about Ninja is that he brings this inclusive culture into the gaming sports industry that everyone can join and be part of this community Through the recent years it had definitely caught more popularity due to websites like twitch.tv and youtube gaming who has given platforms to these video game streamers to showcase their talents.
One of my favorite e-sports teams to follow is Boston Uprising. The Overwatch League is based on the video game called "Overwatch" which can be played among multiple console sytems even with the feature of cross-playing among different systems at the same time. In this game, a team of five players choose which kind of role they want to be. From attackers, defenders to those who will be healing the team as they work together to accomplish the mission. What I love about it is that its a team based game and that requires lots of strategies and communications.
